Rahul Gandhi to visit Amethi today - 17-8-2009 7:37:15
Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi will arrive here today on a three-day visit.
According to party sources, Rahul is expected to pay surprise visit to some villages in the constituency.
During his visit, he will also review the progress made under the NREGA when he will travel to the interior areas.
He will attend a convocation ceremony of the Rajiv Gandhi Information Technology Institute here and inaugurate a hostel.
His visit comes close on the heels of a similar visit by Congress President Sonia Gandhi to her constituency Rae Bareli earlier this week.

New Delhi: Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao will visit Dhaka on Saturday.
Rao will meet Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Leader of Opposition Khaleda Zia during her two-day visit.
Rao will also hold talks with Bangladesh Foreign Minister Dipu Moni and her Bangladeshi counterpart Touhid Hossain.

Nepal Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal will begin his tour to India on August 18.
This will be his first visit to India after assuming power in May.
