‘Allamah Yusuf Binori Spurning a Donation - 3-2-2009 12:31:31
A person came to the Jamiatul ‘Uloom al-Islamiyah ‘Allamah Binori Town originator Maulana Sayyed Muhammad Yusuf Binori (Rahimullah Ta’ala) with a big donation and said: “Hadhrat! I’ve brought this donation for your Madrassa.”
Maulana said in reply: “Our Madrassa’s expenses of one year have been covered. That’s why please take the donation and give it to a Madrassa who are entitled to this donation more than us.”
“Hadhrat! I’ve brought this for your Madrassa.” He gave him the same reply again. He kept on insisting, but Maulana did not accept. At the end he stood up and while leaving said: “Hadhrat! You’ll find no-one giving you such a big donation.”

C N R Rao, H K Dua may get Rajya Sabha nomination - 18-11-2009 12:53:58
New Delhi: The Government is learnt to have cleared
the names of C N R Rao, scientific Advisor to the Prime Minister,
A.K.Ganguly, former chairman of Hindustan Lever and H K Dua,
editor-in-chief of The Tribune, for the Rajya Sabha.
The government has to nominate three distinguished persons to the upper House of Parliament.
A notification will be issued soon.
Rao is a well-known scientist and Dua is a senior journalist who has also been media advisor to prime ministers.

Recently there have been some videos posted attacking Sheykh Abdul Kerim openly and the Osmanli Dergah from Michigan. They are claiming that Sheykh Abdul Kerim is opening a dergah in Cyprus next to Maulana and that this is an act of craziness.
What is craziness is to think that Sheykh Abdul Kerim Effendi would or could do anything without Sheykh Maulana Nazim’s explicit order and direction. Maulana specifically wanted a Dergah to be opened and run according to Ottoman/Osmanli ways in Cyprus.
This is what he ordered Sheykh Abdul Kerim to do, and that is what he is doing.
