Now, Google Adsense offer Western Union for payment. You can withdraw funds from Western Union a day after your payment date. So you don't need wait for 2-3 weeks for the payment. Your Western Union Quick Cash payment will be made in US dollars. However, at most Western Union agents, you may be able to pick up your payment in your local currency.
This is very usefull for people who live outside USA. But until now payment by Western Union is currently available in the following countries and areas:

How to Receive Payment Using Western Union - 23-7-2009 9:17:00
I've received adsense payment using western union for several times. What I like to use western union is fast and free to receive money. I can get money only one day after google release my payment. It so fast then using check which usually take 3-4 weeks to receive money.
In order to receive money using western union you need to change payment option to western union. Here is step by step
1. Sign in at www.google.com/adsense.
2. Click My Account tab.
3. Click the 'edit' link adjacent to the 'Payment Details' header.
4. Select the Western Union Quick Cash radio button.
5. Click 'Continue'.

Adsense Payment Exchange Rate shows 1 USD = 1 INR - 29-10-2008 3:07:00
This seems to be a bug in Google's Adsense Payment system. The Payment details in my account is showing an Exchange Rate conversion of 1:1 between US dollar and Indian Rupee (See screenshot below).

There are quite a lot of publishers in Adsense Help Group asking why they cannot change their forms of payment, after reaching the first $10 threshold. No worry, you are not facing any technical problem. As you may know, the total number of publishers in Adsense around the world is huge, even for the new publishers that participate Adsense everyday. You can realize that there are also large number of publishers who have earned their respective $10 from Adsense. Hence, Google Adsense's system sometimes doesn't immediately pick up all qualifying accounts. These accounts should be identified after 48 hours, but in rare cases, it can take a bit longer.

Mencairkan Uang di Agen Western Union - 3-3-2009 5:38:00
Setelah menunggu sekitar satu bulan akhirnya (Minggu, 1 Maret 2009) aku mendapat payment issue yang diterbitkan oleh Google Adsense untuk accountku. Segera kubuka halaman tersebut dan disitu tertulis Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) yang akan digunakan sebagai nomor untuk mengambil uang di agen Western Union. Ah akhirnya bisa juga mengambil uang melalui Western Union.
Aku memang memilih untuk menerima uang menggunakan Western Union karena (yang kudengar) prosesnya cepat dan tidak dikenakan biaya tambahan.
